Premiere San Antonio Nail Show Hits Record Attendance
The Premiere San Antonio beauty show, presented by SalonCentric, reported a 30% attendance increase with over 12,000 visits.

The Premiere San Antonio professional beauty show achieved record-breaking attendance in its fourth year. According to the event organizers, the show held on August 31, 2026, at the Henry B. González Convention Center saw over 12,000 professional and student visits across two days. This figure represents a 30% increase compared to the previous year's event.
This growth followed a historic presenting partnership between Premiere Shows and distributor SalonCentric, announced in March 2026. Event Director Erin McDonald said the results surpassed expectations. "The energy and engagement we witnessed throughout the weekend was extraordinary," McDonald stated. The collaboration aimed to elevate the experience for the Southwest beauty community.
Strategic Partnership Drives Engagement
The partnership with SalonCentric expanded brand representation and educational programming. The SalonCentric Pavilion became a hub for interactive experiences and product discovery. Dessirae Sands, VP of Education, Shows & Events for SalonCentric, called the passion from attendees inspiring. She said the goal was to empower stylists and students with the tools needed to grow their businesses.
Beyond the SalonCentric area, the expanded exhibit floor featured more than 130 brands. This marked a 14% increase in exhibitor participation.
Nail and Beauty Brands Shows Innovations
The event floor provided comprehensive access to industry-leading products across multiple categories. Nail brands had a significant presence alongside hair, barbering, and spa exhibitors.
Gwen Blevens, VP for Living Proof, highlighted the value of direct engagement with beauty professionals at the show. She said it allowed for meaningful conversations about solving client challenges.
Education and Community Building
Building on its reputation as an education destination, the event delivered 250 sessions. The curriculum spanned hair, barbering, spa, lashes, brows, and business development. It featured 135 brands and independent educators. Standing-room-only crowds filled many top sessions.
High-energy barber battles, powered by L3VEL3, provided a platform for artists to demonstrate their skills. The event fostered a sense of community and celebrated technical excellence.
Premiere San Antonio will return to the same convention center on August 29-30, 2027. Before that, Premiere Shows will host Premiere Columbus in October 2026. Erin McDonald concluded that the partnership demonstrates what is possible when industry leaders collaborate to deliver value. The commitment is to raise the bar year after year.
